Melina is a current criminal law pupil at KBG, under the supervision of Michael Brown and Francesca Whebell and will be accepting criminal instructions in October 2025.
Melina graduated from the University of Birmingham with a 2:1 in LLB Law with German Law where she studied a year abroad at the University of Bayreuth. Melina completed the BPTC alongside a Master of Laws in Bar Practice at the University of Law in 2019. During this course, Melina devoted her time to assisting clients in obtaining legal aid at the University of Law Legal Advice Centre. Throughout her legal studies, Melina also volunteered at Phab, APPEAL and Citizens Advice.
Melina has developed a particular interest in the Law surrounding crime and human rights, following her experience as a CCRC (Criminal Cases Review Commission)intern (2018-2019) and as an investigator with the police (2020-2025).
Outside of her professional role, Melina enjoys competing in county league football, training in martial arts, playing the piano and creating fine art.
