Kathleen commenced pupillage in October 2024 having successfully completed the Bar Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy in July 2024. Kathleen is undertaking a pupillage in Criminal & Civil Law.

A career-changer, Kathleen studied Archaeology and History at the University of Southampton before joining the Royal Navy as a Submarine Warfare Officer in 2014. This career saw Kathleen deploy in various ships and submarines across the Middle East, Atlantic, Caribbean, and Europe.  

Leaving the Royal Navy in 2022, Kathleen relocated to the Southwest and commenced the GDL at the University of Law (University of Exeter Campus). Kathleen was then employed as a casework officer at the Bar Standards Board while studying part 1 of the Bar Course alongside her work.
