Jonathon joined chambers in 2003 developing a successful family law practice. Since 2010 he has specialised in all aspect of financial provision resulting from the breakdown of personal relationships including financial relief in divorce, applications under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 and claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.

He is willing to represent parties at all levels of court, however his practice is predominantly based in the court areas of Plymouth, Torquay, Bodmin and Truro.
Jonathon undertakes a full range of cases from low value or debt cases to cases involving high net worth with complex asset such as trusts, farms, companies, inheritances and prenuptial agreements.
Jonathon has represented both applicants and respondents inapplication under the Family Law Act 1996 and Protection from Harassment Act1997 throughout his career at the bar.
Jonathon is highly regarded for his specialist knowledge and skill in respect of all aspects of financial provision following the breakdown of personal relationships. His TOLATA practice is focused on disputes arising between unmarried couples following separation, which often cross-over with applications under schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989.
Jonathon is willing to represent parties at all levels of court, however his practice is predominantly based in the court areas of Plymouth, Torquay, Bodmin and Truro.
Jonathon advises parties on all aspects of claims including prospects of success, evidence and civil procedure, as well as providing representation at round table meetings, interim and final hearings.
