KBG Chambers are excited to announce our support for The Schools Consent Project

KBG Chambers are excited to announce our support for The Schools Consent Project; a charity dedicated to the educating young people about consent and assault, thus empowering them to engage with and discuss the issues surrounding consent.

One of our new pupils, Georgina, has been a volunteer with the project since 2020 and is keen to head up the Devon and Cornwall branch. Jenny Kumeta and Emma Favata, who are highly experienced barristers, and our pupil, Feleena Grosvenor, are completing their training this week.

This project has partnered with the hit play, “Prima Facie”, starring Jodie Comer. The play inspired our members to get involved and help teach about the legal definitions of consent and assault within school and youth group settings, and discuss these difficult topics with young people in our local areas.
