Katie successfully defended a 21 year old man accused of rape andserious assault of a university student. After a four day trial at CardiffCrown Court, Katie's client was acquitted on both counts. He is now able tocontinue his career in the Royal Navy.
The trial involved a number of complexities due to the complainant's mental health at the time of offence, and at trial.
