Francesca Whebell Successful in Court Martial Trial

Francesca’s client was charged with sexual assault. The zero tolerance policy in place within the military services for sexual offending a conviction would have resulted in immediate dismissal for her client. Following a three day trial, involving a number of witnesses for the prosecution who had seen the complainant and Francesca’s client throughout the evening, providing evidence on their interactions, along with one who said they had witnessed the alleged assault, the board returned a not guilty verdict.
