We are looking to recruit a pupil to commence their pupillage in October 2021.

ALL applications have to be made through the Pupillage Gateway. You can view our application from the  November 2020 and you can apply from the  January 2021. The closing deadline is February 2021 at 11am.

Third Six Applications 2021

As a result of an increasing volume of instructions, Chambers is looking to recruit a junior criminal practitioner interested in developing a prosecution practice. The majority of work, initially will be in the Magistrate’s Court with occasional Crown Court appearances, but it is anticipated that with the full support of a thriving criminal team, a Crown Court practice will be developed in due course. Applications will be treated in the strictest confidence and should be addressed to Deni Mathews, Head of Chambers dmathews@kbgchambers.co.uk

PLEASE NOTE - UPDATE AS OF 11th February 2021

In light of the recent government guidance regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, Chambers has had to make the difficult decision to suspend all forthcoming mini-pupillages.

Chambers will not be accepting any new applications for the foreseeable future.

Chambers appreciates your understanding in these difficult times.

MICHAEL BROWN - Mini Pupil officer

Chambers provide 1 week mini-pupillages to under-graduates and graduates.

Due to the nature of our work, it is our policy not to offer mini-pupillages to school or college students.

Places for mini-pupillages are limited. It is our policy to offer mini-pupillages to those who demonstrate both a genuine interest in a career at the Bar and a real potential to be a successful candidate for pupillage.

Chambers is committed to maintaining strong links with local Universities and applications from those with a local connection are encouraged.

If you wish to apply for a mini-pupillage then you need send a copy of your CV, a covering letter and your dates of availability. Please then send this to Michael Brown via email on mb@kbgchambers.co.uk .

Mini-pupils will be assessed during their mini-pupillage and this may be used to assist us in relation to any subsequent application for a full pupillage.

We regret that, due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to offer feedback on unsuccessful applications.
