The final chapter in Heather Ilott’s claim against her late mother’s estate has now been settled by the Court of Appeal. To much publicity the court ruled that Mrs Ilott should now receive a third of the £500,000 estate overturning the previous order that she should only receive £50,000. Charlotte Davies involved in a 4 day Employment Tribunal Hearing

Judgment has been reserved following a four day Employment Tribunal hearing, which included six hours of submissions, in the matter of James v Cornwall Council.   Charlotte Davies represented the Claimant, a social worker, who brings claims of disability discrimination and constructive dismissal.
