New article by Rawdon Crozier

4th July 2016

Rawdon Crozier's article 'HMO Licensing Costs as Service Charges', co-written with Ibraheem Dulmeer of the Leasehold Advisory Service appears in the latest issue of Landlord & Tenant Review (Vol 20 Issue 3) and is also available as a full text article on Westlaw. The article considers how dwellings under the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 may fall within one of the subsidiary definitions of houses in multiple occupation under the Housing Act 2004 and whether the First-tier Tribunal had been correct to 'nod-through' HMO licensing costs claimed as service charges in Simpson v Burgess CHI/21/UD/LSC/2014/0060. Rawdon was keynote speaker at the Lease Conference, organized by the Leasehold Advisory Service and News on the Block in February this year.

Chambers is also delighted to announce that Rawdon has joined the Editorial Board of Counsel Magazine and attended his first board meeting earlier this week.
