Chambers is awarded a Bar Council Certificate of Recognition for its work on Wellbeing

12th March 2020

We are delighted to have been awarded a Certificate of Recognition for our work surrounding Wellbeing at the Bar.

“KBG chambers distinctive traffic light system for booking time out is a great innovation designed to support members wellbeing. It’s also great to see all the measures introduced to support collegiality and healthy life choices.” Wellbeing At Bar Working Group

Since 2018, KBG Chambers has developed a Wellbeing policy, hosted a Wellbeing Month in October 2019 to raise awareness to members, Clerks and those in the legal profession and introduced mechanisms to support members and clerks. Hollie Gilbery has been instrumental in raising awareness of Wellbeing at KBG Chambers, and the Western Circuit. Supported by Gina Small & Colin Palmer, Senior Clerk, we plan on continuing to develop these practices in the years to come.

The certificate highlights Chambers’ commitment to wellbeing in the workplace and at the Bar.
